Dress-up pics

Well, another Halloween has come and gone. These two guys went trick-or-treating downtown (picture of their witch mother not available). The stores always have candy, toys, refreshments, and entertainment on Halloween day, and there are bunches of little kids going around. We didn't take them out at night, though- no point in rushing the inevitable. I wouldn't be surprised if Taylor insists on going next year, though.

Joshua has really chunked up in the last two months. Everybody tells us how much he looks like Taylor, but we didn't realize it until we took Joshua in for a photo session the other day. Can you figure out which one is which?
We had a big birthday party the other day- Grandma & Grandpa Long drove up from Texas, and Grandma & Grandpa Elliott drove down from the other side of Atlanta. The party was theoretically for Taylor, Daddy, and Grandma & Grandpa Long, who all have birthdays within a one-week period. But somehow, Taylor wound up getting more presents than everyone else combined, he was the only one that we sang "Happy Birthday" to, and the cake was a Winnie the Pooh cake. He opened several presents that weren't his, in addition to his own. Funny how that worked out....

Well, Thanksgiving will soon be nothing more than a bellyache, and Christmas will be upon us. In a month or so, people will probably start getting pictures (that look remarkably like this one to the left) in the mail. Hopefully Santa will be nice to all of us.

Take care, everyone.
