Easter and more

It's been busy as always here at the Elliott homestead. Of course, we just had Easter, so as you can see, Taylor, Joshua, and Mommy had big fun decorating eggs. You might also notice that Daniel (middle name yet to be decided) was trying to bust out of the womb and join in the fun. He'll have to wait a while, though, since he's not due until July 6th. Seems like forever, doesn't it? Caroline just bought herself a rocker/recliner to put in the bedroom. She's gotten to the point where she has trouble sleeping in bed, so she'll be spending a lot of nights in the recliner. She's also working out at the YMCA three times a week (go girl!) to keep in shape. She's hoping to bounce back quickly from this pregnancy.

A while ago we drove up to Ohio to visit aunt Eileen & family. We stayed for 4 days, and thoroughly enjoyed everything except the weather. It was 75 degrees when we left Georgia, and it was below freezing (and snowing) when we got to Columbus 9 hours later. Brrr! Taylor's been telling us how we need to go back up there soon, but I think that a certain pregnant girl might not want to be in the car for that long again if she can help it. Of course, Taylor is also constantly telling us that we need to go to Oma's house, to Grandma's house, to Grandpa's house... pretty much anybody's house he can think of. He's also really enjoyed watching home movies lately and has been telling us that he wants to be little again. Funny guy.

On our way back home from Ohio, we stopped off at the Air Force Museum in Dayton. Taylor and Joshua *really* enjoyed seeing hundreds of planes and things, and ever since then they've been playing with toy planes in a major way. Joshua has really grown up lately- he can navigate the stairs on his feet (instead of crawling), he loves to play outside (or open the door and run out when we're not looking), and he only weighs 7 pounds less that his big brother. He seems to be adjusting to the idea of a new baby boy coming to join the family, and he & Taylor play together all the time now. If he'd just learn to go to sleep without screaming his lungs out for 30 minutes first....
