Goodness, gracious! The good news is that we finally decided to join the 21st century and get ourselves a digital camera. That means that we don't have to wait around for film to be developed and for Derrick to scan in pictures before we update the website- so maybe it'll happen a little more often, now. When we have time, we'll post the story of how long it took to get the camera.

The boys have both been a little sick. Joshua, who's been coughing for half a year now, has bronchitis. The doctor seems worried that he might have breathing problems for the rest of his life. Right now, he's on a nebulizer a few times a day, and he just finished up a course of antibiotics and steroids. Taylor wound up taking his first trip to the emergency room the other week- we put him down one night and he was fine. An hour and 15 minutes later, we heard him open his door and went to check. He was having so much trouble breathing that he couldn't even get enough oxygen to cry. Derrick thought at first that he had something caught in his throat, but it was just a sudden onset of some random virus. The doctors don't seem to think that it was the same thing that Joshua had, but we're not so sure. Anyway, he had his own nebulizer treatment and was on steroids for a while, too, but he seems back to normal now.

The boys both really enjoyed Easter- especially the candy part. Taylor helped Mommy make a special cake, and it turned out really yummy. They even put on some bunny ears for a while. Most of the candy was gone by the end of the week (daddy's was gone by the end of the day....)
Taylor has been falling asleep in some interesting places and positions lately. Here are a couple of examples.

Joshua has (finally) started trying to crawl on his own. He'd still much rather walk around (which he still needs help for), but at least he's willing to try self-locomotion. He has several techniques- he'll lay on his belly and push with his toes, inching his way along, he'll get up on his hands and toes, with his rear end waaay up in the air and try to do some kind of elephant step, he'll get up on hands and knees and suddenly jerk both legs forward at the same time.... Every time he crawls, it seems like he tries a new method.

Lastly, you can click here to see a low-resolution movie of the boys getting a bath. It might take a little while to load if you have a slower internet connection.
