Derrick’s Family…Is moving to Atlanta Georgia! It will be much easier on Derrick’s dad, not having to live in a hotel during the week and only going home on the weekend. Veida is just finishing her first year at the University of Alabama with a Presidential scholarship- full tuition. She might transfer to a University in Georgia next year, though. Everybody look out! BA is on the move- he’s driving!
Caroline’s Family…Mom is still working at the Barry’s OB_GYN office. David is juggling two jobs and being a member of the Beaumont Ward Bishopric. Brian (who is serving as a missionary in Korea), is living on an island and experiencing complications from malnutrition. Scary! He has been to the doctor and hopefully his condition will improve. Nathan is still trying to decide what he wants to do, and Timothy is a senior at Hardin- Jefferson High School and got accepted to BYU (with a scholarship no less)!!! Elizabeth is the email queen and Ben is very excited about his upcoming birthday.
Friends…Amber and David are living in New York and just bought a house. Careen is serving as a missionary in Vancouver, Canada. Karalyn and Scott are due for a baby in June, which will put the birth in Florida, where they have moved. Todd and Merrilee had their baby boy (Mason) December 28th, and Todd is working with Derrick at Wirthlin. Steve T is going to school at Stevens-Henagar and working at Convergys. Stephanie is getting married May 26th, Christine is now in Taiwan for her mission and Jessica just graduated from BYU- congrats!
